We are against CONSTANT moves to reduce cost and degrade service in the Data and Voice Communications world

We still offer connectivity from all.  But will recommend Smart Managed Pipes.  NOT DUMB PIPES!

MPLS (Fair Weighted Congestion) is DEAD!  SD WAN is the defacto standard and a MAJOR break through

in multi location networking.   The only viable option.

Based on their lack of support and ‘Edge to Edge’* network guarantee; Major Carriers are only recommendable as WHOLESALERS.  That is ALL they are good for!

*AT&T statement meaning network edge to network edge.  Everything else including the applications are the customer’s’ responsibility.  

 

Major Carries are PARTS of our solutions.  No Major or Enterprise businesses should work with 

ANY Major Carrier directly.  They offer good pricing but HORRIBLY high cost, continually degrading service, virtually no Technical Support and their standard practice is to delegate any issues to the customer (customer web portals so customer is forced to make their own adds, moves and changes).

Understand that Publicly Traded Companies DO NOT HAVE THE ABILITY to provide good Customer 

Service and Technical Support.  This is due to WallStreet and their demands to grow revenue quarter after quarter and decrease Customer Support Cost quarter after quarter.   This leads to automation, outsourcing, IVRs, AUTOMATED TROUBLE RESOLUTION*  and worse things to come!!

*AT&T has rolled this out 3 times!  IF you are the customer contact for a trouble, you get a robo call saying ‘No Trouble Found’ and THERE ARE NO BUTTONS YOU CAN PUSH FOR HELP!  Must start over.  Trouble resolution has and always will involve LAN techs working with WAN techs to test, identify, isolate and fix issues wherever they are.  Automated Trouble Resolution is the worst idea in the history of Communications!

Verizon has a STANDING Offer FOR all Wireline Employees to leave the company and receive 2 weeks comp for every year they worked.  They have stated they want to ‘divest from Wireline altogether’.  They laid off the entire Major Accounts Support Team who were awesome!  Replaced them with Newbies in Atlanta for ½ the cost along with $3 per hour Manila Call Center support people.  They speak good English.  Otherwise, they are completely powerless to help and simply cost us time and aggravation.

AT&T calls themselves an Entertainment company and ALSO states at Board of Directors Level that they want to divest of Wireline business altogether!  These are the same brilliant people who bought DirecTV and WILL figure out a way to ruin HBO as they try to be an Entertainment company.  Their CEO and Board are completely incompetent and they have been since the beginning.
